Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Hastings Arms
Would once have been on the main road overlooking the marshes and shore, but now superseded by the A289 leading to the Medway Tunnel. Anyway, this has the main L-shaped traditional bar at the front with a pool table in the right-hand branch and a smaller bar (with a dining room up a few steps beyond) on the other side. Wadworth 6X and Wantsum's Black Prince dark mild (£4.80) available from the three handpumps.

E TA left this review about The Hastings Arms
The Hastings Arms is an old way-side inn, now by-passed by the new main road. The name refers to the estates of a family which came over with the Norman Conquest and owned large parts of what is now Gillingham until relatively recently. The pub has a large modern extension at the rear and a single u-shaped bar at the front with a tv and gaming machines. Food is served at a good price and is good quality. There were 3 ales on; I had a pint of Mauldons Autumn Gold which was well kept and confirms the pub's GBG credentials. Worth coming over for a pint and a meal but difficult to tie in with a crawl.
