A lovely-looking pub in a lovely-looking location. That's kind of where it ends as a GK sign by the main entrance gives away who's in charge here and espying the line-up - just GK IPA, Old Speckled Hen and Abbot Ale on three stumps (a fourth unclipped) screams of afterthought. I had a bottle of GK's Yardbird Ale for £4.00. Inside, it's not a bad place, although a little semi-gastroesque. Some original flagstones on entry as well as ceiling and support beams. No background music either which was a touch. This comes into its own in the summer months, being by the Thames, but unless you're stopping to eat here, it's not really a place to drop in for a beer outside of the clement weather season.
