Old Boots left this review about Cherry Tree
A biggish estate pub surrounded by trees on one side but I don’t think any are cherry trees. The pub is on an estate to the south west about a mile from the town centre. Largely set out as a dining pub there’s a small public bar to one side with its own external door. It has a pool table, darts, juke box machine and a couple of screens. Decor is a lot of football scarves, seating at leatherette banquettes and a single tall table. Three pulls on the section of counter in here, Doombar, Bass (clip reversed) and Grainstore Lord Minimus, named after Jeffery Hudson - see Oakham’s JHB for his story. Beer quality was good. Two T-bars of normals with Caffrey’s Stout, Staropremen and Alpcalypse the more interesting beers. The larger part of the pub is set up as a dining room with one large area and a couple of more secluded ones. It shares the servery with the public and has the same casks and kegs but on low T’s and solos. Not a bad one for the breed, I did find Melton people to be friendly and pleasant anyway.
