A two roomed back street boozer, ale wise It's just Bass from a solo handpump which I found served up a little on the cold side but otherwise fine.
It's a pretty basic pub experience but decent enough.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Cherry Tree

Traditional city-centre boozer with a very prominent M&B sign in what must have been a hotel in the old days (as you can still see the entrance through to the rear yard, now a beer garden). Anyway, the entrance lobby leads to the bar / pool room on the right-hand side and lounge off to the left. That latter is home to the solitary handpump offering a good drop of Bass (£2.15, half), with just a pump clip for same fixed to the keg-taps font on the other side of the central servery. In a group all ordering the same thing, the lady behind the bar seemed to become increasingly concerned that there might be no cask ale left for her regulars later on (although she kept a straight face so it was difficult to tell how serious she was...).

A revisit after many years to this two-roomed, basic boozer. Fairly scruffy all round and has the feeling of having really gone to seed. The old ‘lounge’ is off left whilst the right public side has bare boards, darts and pool. The small rear garden is in a pitiful state - the old astroturf is now worn down to squidgy rubbery quick. One cask, very good Bass (NBSS 4). "Give it a couple of minutes!" says the barmaid, who assumes this accentless interloper has never met a sparkler before. One or two of the punters were a bit on the boisterous side but overall the place felt friendly enough. An oddity; with a bit of investment to get it back to how it was 30 years ago this would be a quality venue.

Classic rough boozer tucked away behind the Shires. Serves no real ale but does have a keg mild, plus a rather nice beer garden with comedy astroturf they must have nicked from Loftus Road. Problem is that you have to walk through a bar full of tattooed regulars watching you and making hushed comments to each other in order to get to it. It did seem to make their afternoon when me and my mates appeared, and it made ours too in a very bizarre way. Rated 3

Two rooms with the bar between them. There was a hand pump in the room where I was not sitting so couldn't say what it was I had Guinness as an alternative.
