The City Vaults had its main entrance on a side street on the first few visits here,there was no front entrance back in the 80s.
Once inside the pub had a few small rooms which were basic but in a nice way.
The pub was a Wards tied house with a nice drink of Wards bitter on the bar,this is the reason we visited this pub whenever in Lincoln.
The pubs new frontage looks cheap to me.
A very nice pub ruined in my opinion.
