well-known multi roomed Greene King pub in one of the nicer suburbs of St Helens. A rugby league stronghold and very popular for live sports and its massive beer garden. TVs, Six Nations bumpf and corporate menus everywhere. Very poor seating- pointless barrels that give you nowhere to place your legs, oversized dining tables and long high benches. Landlord and Speckled Hen were supposed to be available but actually not when I asked, ended up with Madri fizz. Bit of a waste of time, Greene King have somehow made a total mess of a place that should be a goldmine.
