This fine old pub is listed by Camra for its interior that is unchanged since the 1950s. In the small front room where I sat there is access to the bar by a small counter and the hand pumps can be glimpsed, facing the other room to the rear. The pump clips are helpfully repeated on the wall beside the counter, though, and at the time of my visit these were all advertising beers from local breweries, which I imagine is probably always the case. I tried Llyn Cwrw Glyndŵr and Great Orme Ynys Mon, the other beer was Conwyn Cwrw Haf. The Llyn beer was good but the Great Orme was a little past its best. I liked this pub and would happily return if in the area again.
