Recently reopened after what must have been an expensive refurbishment. I was busy admiring the decor and then turned to look at the bar, with pump clips turned around. The lass who served me explained that the line from the cellar to the bar is so long that they're throwing away more beer than they sell. I had a half of reasonably acceptable Worthington keg (£3.70/pint) and wished them luck with a solution to the real ale problem. My experience of Wales is that the locals are quite happy drinking lager.
