Old Boots left this review about The Green Tree Inn
A typical two bar estate pub with little to choose between them, the left hand one, the lounge, is bigger and goes further back in the building. I used the right hand public bar which has banquette seating supplemented by stools at casks and a drinking shelf. Decor is various posters, breweriana and signs, some humourous some not. A few screens; two on test cricket another on motor racing, there is also a juke box. Initial joy at spotting two hand pumps was dashed when seeing both clips reversed, an Old Peculier and I think something from “Sharps”. A T-bar of usual suspects but there was also a solo with Salt Jute as well as local brew, Madri. A decent local.

A busy locals' pub in a residential area, retaining a two room layout and actually labelled as bar and lounge, although they are similarly furnished in a fairly modern style. The bar does have two prominent 'oches', but they lead to TVs rather than dartboards; perhaps they can be replaced if needed. There are lots of tables arranged round the outside including a garden area to the rear. Not an unreasonable pub for what it is, but nothing very interesting on the beer front: just Sea Fury on handpump, except that had just run out leaving keg Atlantic as the best option.
