The Warren is set back from the passing road by lots of picnic tables that look onto a large screen that had been set up to watch World Cup football. This was still in use as my visit was on a midweek evening in December last year. Inside there’s a left-hand public bar with a pool table, dartboard and a couple of large televisions for showing Sky Sports. The seating is split level and there was some Christmas music playing. The central bar serves this public bar and a much larger lounge / dining area in the right side. This is where the handful of very drunk and unpleasant locals were congregated. More televisions are dotted around and at the rear some seating can be curtained off from the main bar area, not sure why to be honest.
The bar supports standard keg alongside Peroni, Birra Moretti and San Miguel. The bank of three hand pumps in each bar were both drawing Greene King IPA and Abbot Ale. This is a Hungry Horse so the food is cheap with the burgers all starting at less than a tenner. This isn’t somewhere I’ll be visiting again.

Reasonably sized pub under the Hungry Horse chain. Only offering was Greene King IPA which was decent enough. Food is the main influence here. Not really worth visiting unless you want a cheap meal, although service here is particularly careless.
