Real Ale Ray left this review about Queens Head
A decent heritage pub and well worth a visit. The pub consists of two rooms with the bar side on the left and lounge side on the right. The bar side walls and over the back servery display a numerous amount of pumpclips. The landlord puts a guest ale on each weekend, with the Sharps Doombar being a permanent, so my limited choice was a Doombar, which was in great shape. There were also two from Sam Smiths, Taddy lager and Extra Stout.
The pub has the daily papers, so it was good to catch up with the news over a drink. There were two locals in on our early doors visit, who were friendly and chatty, along with the barmaid. Opens at 9.45am - 12pm.
