Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Snipe
The Snipe is a Hungry Horse establishment located on the busy A38 on the edge of Sutton-in-Ashfield. The car park is large and is split over several levels. There are even separate areas for bar visitors and restaurant visitors.
Entering through the bar entrance, there is an area of seating with TVs designed for drinkers. Beyond that is much more seating, primarily for diners. But I chose to sit in this area with just a drink.
Greene King IPA & Abbot are the regular beers here. They were joined by Morland Old Speckled Hen. Altogether, an uninspired choice.
If you're after a cheap meal, this may suit. Otherwise, it's simply not worth the effort.
