Komakino . left this review about The Wychwood Inn
A gastro-pub-cum-restaurant-cum-accommodation-cum-shop (the latter is a bolt-on as you enter from the gravelled car park). The front of the building is original, with an extended bolt-on to the rear and a patio allowing al fresco drinking and dining. There's no truck with drinking as a sign proclaiming 'bar open all day every day' attests, but the lack of invention on the ale front (Wadworth 6X, GK IPA and GK Back of the Net - I'll let them off the Brentwood Golden Galaxy which was decent at £1.70 a half) means this isn't necessarily the go-to option in Shipton. Muzak was of the 'Radio 1 Live Lounge' ilk and there was a slight air of pretension - Bellini popsicles anyone...?
