A village pub in a small village which is still going strong. Lots of Cotswold stone inside and out, and three beers from the Hook Norton stable - Hooky, Hooky Gold and Harvest Hop - the latter an excellent pale ale in great shape and £2 for a half. A L-shaped, green-carpeted bar area which has a cosy ambience (with or without overloud locals) and a raised, separate dining area. A small patio allows some outside drinking and overall, this is not too bad an Oxfordshire village boozer.
