Alan Winfield left this review about The White Swan Inn
The White Swan is a stone built pub that is situated on the edge of Wiggington.
It looked a bit grim from the outside with a couple of for sale signs, but the pub was open.
Once inside there was a single oblong shaped room with the bar to the left which was up one step this area had a tiled floor, the larger lower area was carpeted and had normal tables and chairs, the ceiling had a couple of large beams and there was a large fire place.
This pub is a Hook Norton tied house and there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Hookey bitter which was a decent enough drink, the other beer was Hook Norton Lion.
The pub was packed when we got here with a pre wedding group, when these left we were the only drinkers in the pub.
This is a basic pub that seemed a bit sad when empty,i hope somebody takes it on and makes a go of it.
