Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Moon & Sixpence
Attractive Cotswold stone pub, now reconfigured by Charles Wells into more of a multi-room dining establishment. However, it does still have a small lounge-like seating area by what is now the main entrance from the car park, together with a plainer side room to the left of the original front door with its own small counter. Although an upmarket village pub, it was slightly surprising to find just DNA (£5.00) available from the pair of handpumps. The ambiance was also somewhat affected by a member of staff putting a vacuum cleaner around some areas at 4 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon (when still open to 18:00 apparently), and the other staff weren't too attentive either.

Komakino . left this review about The Moon & Sixpence
A stoney (in build, not attitude) food-oriented Charles Wells pub in the Banbury surrounds, it's all rather clean inside, but pleasingly there's an area in front of the bar preserved for those opting for a wet diet (although a bar menu is available) with a smattering of small leather armchairs, low wooden tables and some stools at the bar. The sole ale was Directors Bitter on both handpumps at £3.75 a pint and muzak was of the Stock Aitken and Waterman variety. Some signs indicate the name is "Hyltons at The Moon & Sixpence", but this still retains a (somewhat sterile) pub function.
