Oggwyn Great left this review about The Bridgewater Arms
Popped in here with family for a bite to eat after a visit to the Shropshire Aero Club at nearby Sleap Airfield.
Whitbread Pub/Resturant with an attached Premier Inn , the original Sandstone built pub dates from 1841 but only the frontage remains , the interior is typical of this type of place , multi leveled with lots of seperate areas and painted in a pale inoffensive colours .
The main bar area is through the side entrance on a lower level , the main dining area on the upper level .
Usual keg taps and 4 handpulls , 3 on during my visit with Doombar , Cumberland and a suprisingly good Salopian Shropshire Gold (£3.05 a pint not bad)
Service was friendly , most customers were dining but a few were propping the bar up .
The pub is what it is , nothing special but does its job well .
