Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Mytton & Mermaid
Imposing Brunning & Price pub, restaurant and hotel beside the River Severn at the eastern end of the historic Atcham bridges. The main 18th-century building houses the large bar and several dining rooms, with more to be found in a lower structure forming the second side of attractive square front beer garden. All parts upmarket but tastefully done. The 'house' Original Bitter from Brightside, Wye Valley Butty Bach, Ludlow Blonde, Salopian's Shropshire Gold, Three Tuns Stout (£4.90) and a couple of ciders were being served from the line of seven handpumps. Won't be everyone's idea of a pub, but the friendly staff meant that I really enjoyed my stop here.

Substantial and listed coaching Inn / hotel on the banks of the River Severn. The emphasis is on food but there are a few comfortable seat in the bar area. Also a decent choice of beer with Doom Bar, Shropshire Gold and Hobson's Old Prickly available on my visit. The Gold was fine. A decent place for a quick stop and I was happy to have visited.
