Simon Reid left this review about The Coracle
Large local's pub in the North Eastern outskirts of Shrewsbury, right side door leads into a large open area with the bar in the corner, tables all around, a wooden floor/checked carpet ensemble, a raised area at the rear with pool table and darts boards, plenty of screens and games machines scattered around. Large screen partition doors by the side of the bar separate what was once the food part/lounge, not sure if still functioning as they were locked shut. It's a drinker's pub for locals and tradesmen - 3 handpulls but nothing available on my visit (one had a scrumpy clip turned round), 12 keg taps (offering 10 options, all macro lagers/stout/cider/pale ale). Old school and vital I'd say, nothing for the beer geek nor any notable architectural/historical aspects, just a late 20th Century proper (estate) pub

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Coracle
Elongated Marston's pub / restaurant set well back from the main road, with a two-part bar and several other seating dining areas, all given a light semi-modern refurbishment (fairly recently by the look of things). Various sports TVs and a large screen showing football on my visit, with a dartboard also in use and a pool table. Banks's Amber (£2.80) and Hobgoblin available from a total of five handpumps split between the two counters.
