The original building has been extended into the next building to make quite a large, multiroomed pub with a change of level in the middle. Bar counters are present in both upper and lower levels, with a single server on a Monday afternoon kept running between them. She was very pleasant, and apologised for keeping me waiting, before pouring my half of Black Sheep while waiting for someone else's John Smiths Smooth to settle. My beer was pretty good (NBSS 3.5, £4.35/pint), and quite a bit cheaper than a similar beer in the nearby Devonshire.

The Hare and Hounds is in the middle of dore.
This is a decent looking stone built pub that has been opened out inside but still has different drinking areas.
There were three real ales on the bar and i had a drink of Tetley bitter which was a decent drink the other beers were Bombadier and Everards Sunchaser.
This was a decent enough pub to have a drink in.
