Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Corner House
Large - and on a Thursday evening, with a pub quiz on, busy - Greene King pub / restaurant. Also has traditional facilities such as a pool table and dartboard. Features all the anonymous, semi-modern furniture and decoration that you would expect, but still good to see the place thriving. I found three of the four handpumps in use, offering IPA, Abbot and Castle Rock's Harvest Pale (£4.10) as a guest.

Former Bill Brewer. Gaudily refurbed like a dfs showroom. As for the grill menu, 2 steaks and half chickens with a massive selection of packet sauces to choose from, should be called the Sauce Cafe.
