This is basically a cheapo bar filled with old blokes of an afternoon. A single longish room with the bar to the rear on entering. No real ale.

A small featureless square box with a large screen showing football and a DJ rig in the corner. There were 2 handpumps on the bar one of which was serving Sharps Doom Bar. I had a look around, there were 30 people in, all drinking lager, so I had a half of fizz. Full of loud, chavvy D4's. I really wouldn't bother.

Bar 29 is situated on a pedestriised street,it is next door to the larger Bull pub.
Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room which runs to the rear,the bar is on the right side,the floor was wood laminate,there were a few normal tables and chairs to the front,tall tables and stools were on the left side,there was a tall bench seat to the rear.
There were two pumps on the bar,one in use,i asked for a half of Doom Bar,the male bar tender looked at me in horror,he then pulled the half off and asked if it was ok,i said yes,he said i prefer serving lager,to my surprise the Doom Bar was'nt too bad.
There was a tv showing horse racing,the background music was very loud,the pub was packed on my mid Saturday afternoon visit with mainly lager drinkers,ime not sure if there were any D4's in,i dont really know what they are.
I was happy enough having a quick drink in this lively pub.
