Old Boots left this review about The Kings Arms
Double fronted old boozer, a Batemans pub with the majority of beers on the thirteen pulls being theirs, the others made by one cider, a couple of Oakhams, a Sambrookes and a Magpie. Two T-bars and a couple of solos provide a fairly standard keg choice. A couple of pulls were blank. Very traditional other than the pump count, wooden furniture banquette seating board floor, there is the odd high chair and in a side room at the back Britannia tables, chairs and stools. Friendly sort of local with a bubbly barmaid on my visit. Creamy colour scheme on a lot of tongue & groove below plain plastered above, there’s a screen and a small collection of old boxing photos plus a few mirrors and cellar management awards.

A simple local. Basic front bar with a plain no-frills modernisation – choc/mocha colourings and floorboards. Beyond is a simple room and a conservatory off left from that. The whole COVID rule caboodle still going on, like a lot of Norwich. Noted that locally-made sausage rolls, pork pies and scotch eggs were available. 11 pumps with four ales on, 2x Tindall and 2x Batemans - the latter’s XXXB was fairly insipid (NBSS 2). Another disappointing Norwich GBG pub.
Visited early August.

Another good Batemans house and is well worth a visit. It has the full range of Batemans ales plus guests. As you enter the pub, the bar immediately faces you on the left and the front bar area is quite narrow. There was lots of seating and the pub goes quite a way back. Staff are jolly and friendly. I enjoyed Beeston Worth the Wait and Mauldons Broomstick - both excellent.

I enjoyed my visit to this Bateman house that is in the 2013 Good Beer Guide. Friendly landlady and good quality beer range. We enjoyed beers from Ossett and Beeston here. Not far from the bus station.

Great pub, good real ale, bring your own food, no pool, no fruit machines, just a good pub with great punters and licensees

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Kings Arms
A proper beer-drinkers pub - it might do food as well, but who cares when you've got a choice of 12 real ales? Several Bateman's beers on, but also many from small local breweries (including a very nice pint of Winter's Mild). Thoroughly recommended.

Friendly local with a superb range of cask beer. No Machines or music, just good beer and good company. Batemans beers including XXXB always on as well as another 12 from all over. Good imported lagers and Liefmans Kreik on draught ! Beer festival at the end of every November ! Over 40 beers on at once, loads on gravity. Lunchtime bar menu and sunday lunches served. There is no food served at night so bring in take aways and we'll even supply plates an cutlery.
