Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Kings
More of an Indian restaurant than a pub these days, with furniture and decor to suit, but the partly opened-out interior shows its origins. The main corner room features an angular counter and bar-back, with further seating in a walk-through dining area behind this and a further dining area down a couple of steps to one side. No real ale, and even the Worthington's was off, so made do with a Cobra (£3.50).

Richard Lloyd left this review about Jee Jee's Punjabi Bar & Grill
This place has changed hands and is now called the King's Lounge. It is a 100% vegetarian restaurant and no longer serves alcohol!

Soup Dragon left this review about The Park Hotel
Formerly the Park Hotel and now Jee Jee's Punjabi Bar and Grill. This is a detached restuarant with a small seating area. The hotel was built around 1900, as housing was beginning to appear in the area. It replaced a former Inn, called the Sow & Pigs. It is a corner building, in red brick, which is well decorated. The interior has a few 'suites' set-up for dining. between them is a small area with comfy seats and a fireplace, for drinking. The rest does seem to be foody, although you can just sit and drink. It is in coffee and chocolate, with a few decorative Indian wood carvings. Indian music accompanies. There appears to be a serving bar in each suite and the service was fine. I know the place has just re-opened after a temporary closure and this maybe why not all of the drinks were on. It was the usual tap stuff, with no MILD, no real ales - despite having two pulls (one had a Wye Valley clip turned around). There were a few in, all dining. I can't really say i would return for a drink - £2 for half a shandy - but the menu looked good and cheaper than the drinks!
