The Gribble Inn is an ancient thatched-roof village pub and home of the Gribble Brewery. I found 8 handpumps on the bar, though 2 were not in use, leaving 5 for the in-house brew and the other for Lilley's Rhubarb Cider. Neck Oil is available for those wanting something crafty. Service at the bar was punctuated by the taking of phone calls, while the multi-ordering party in front were presented with one of the filthiest glasses I've ever seen. On checking my pints later, I found they weren't cleaned to a standard I'd approve of at home either.
The Gribble beers are perfectly acceptable, mostly variations on Best, though I did have a pint of a very fine Golden Ale (name escapes me now). The food portions turned out to be huge.
The garden is a bit of a sun-trap, which wasn't on the day's forecast. Inside, there's several rooms.
In summary, while the pub's good for beers and food, I'd like to see some investment in the glass washing facilities before considering a return visit.
