Strongers . left this review about The Chantry
The Chantry has a tiled wooden serving counter to the right that faces a row of high tables up the centre and two pool tables and a photobooth to the left. Booths then run up the left-hand wall to the rear where they face a sparsely furnished area with a DJ booth in the right rear corner. TNT Sports was muted before the early Saturday afternoon kick-off while some background played to an empty pub, I was the only customer. I found this a bit odd until I was charged £3.85 for half an Amstel, this was the most expensive drink of the day in what was one of the worst venues. A weekend pub for young people with more money than life experience.

Former Slug & Lettuce - a large open plan room with boarded floor and a modern interior, despite being in an historic building. A couple of local ales on alongside the usual Doom Bar and Bombardier etc. Adequate.
