Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Hobgoblin
Completely deserted on a Sunday night, just a very bored-looking barman looking at his watch. Only one handpump working, serving an OK pint of Butcombe Bitter. Almost made the Litten Tree across the road look a better bet - it was that bad - and thus doomed, I should imagine...

Alan Winfield left this review about Hobgoblin
The Hobgoblin is situated in the middle of Bedford.
Once inside there was one largish room that had bare boards and lots of normal tables and chairs.
When i visited the pub it was a Wychwood tied house and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Hobgoblin and this was quite a nice drink the other beers were Greene King Abbot and a guest beer which i car'nt remember the name of.
