A large detached extended pub/eatery in a peach coloured render with wood framed gables. Recently having re-opened, it has a patio area.
The interior has a couple of rooms served by a central serving bar. The bar is in white and coffee colour and has a pool table and boxing pictures on the walls. The lounge is extensive and has a raised area that acts as a stage for live music. It is in yellow and wood panelled walls with white and beamed ceiling. There are plenty of prints on the walls featuring ships and animals etc. The food they serve is a basic £6 menu, but i didn't eat so can't comment. The is a TV which was tuned to some dance music radio station. The service was friendly and the clientele mixed.
Beer; no real ale, all the usual keg stuff with an OK Banks's MILD
A general inoffensive place really, but nothing for the real ale fan
