A large brick builtformer Post Office, hence the name, with ornate doorways and windows. There is a patio area.

The interior is open plan, on two levels. The lower level in blue and cream, with wood panel and with a red and white ceiling,comfy seats and the usual Spoons general and historic information panels. The upper part, where the bar is, is in red and wood panel with blue and cream ceiling. There are the usual load of Sky TVs for a Spoons. The service was good, the clientele the usual mix for a Spoons.

Beer; tap stuff, with untried Quartz Extra Blonde and Quartz Heart, the usual Abbots and Ruddles, Backhouse Brewery's East India and a decent Shugborough Brewery (assisted by Titanic) Mi Fair Lady.

I have been in here several times over the years and it has always stood up, to me, as the best of Spoons - i am critical of JDW, this has yet to let me down and considering some of the dross places in Stone, this is far better than i would expect - good on you Poste
