A run-of-the-mill ‘Spoons in a busy town shopping centre. It looked slightly chaotic behind the bar, possibly inexperienced staff, but the food we ordered was served very promptly. The standard complement of mute gaming machines, tv screen, toothless pensioners and work-dodgers was there, but it all felt very civilised. Ales on were Sharp’s Sea Fury, Doombar, Bowman Wallops, Anthem, Jaipur, Bear Town Bear Ass, GK IPA and Abbott, plus there were 3 boxed ciders. No issues coming back here.

The Kingswood Colliers is a Wetherspoons that is in Kingswoods shopping area.
Once inside the bar faces in decent sized L shaped room that is carpeted, there are tall tables and chairs to the front, booth seating on the right side and normal tables and chairs elsewhere.
I had a drink of Bath Ales Prophecy, which was a decent drink,i did not get to note and other guest beers as it was too busy at the bar,but there was Spoons regulars GK IPA and Abbot on.
There i also an outside seating area to the rear.

Although I had this one down as a shop conversion according to What Pub it's a purpose built Spoons that opened around the turn of the century. It might just as well have been a shop conversion as it is an open plan L shaped room with fairly typical fixtures and fittings and a patio at the rear. It was fairly busy on a hot Saturday afternoon.
The ten hand pumps had the IPA version of the JDW Trio Of Doom with IPA doubled, one unused, a cider, GWB Bristol Belle & Summer Nights, Exmoor Gold and Marston's Old Empire.
I went for the Bristol Belle (£2.29) which was excellent.
I thought this was a decent enough Spoons.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Kingswood Colliers (JD Wetherspoon)

Standard-issue 'spoons with a nondescript 'L'-shaped interior featuring lighter furniture and decor than some examples. Also has a patio beer garden at the back, although it was hardly the weather for that. Modest selection of real ales and a cider from seven of ten handpumps, from which I went for the RCH Brewery PG Steam (£2.39).
