The entrance of the Sea Horse leads to a small lounge that was empty to the left and a very busy public bar to the right. In here banquettes run under the front windows and up the right-hand wall to the rear. In the front is a pool table and two dartboards hang on the rear wall, I think my Thursday evening visit coincided with darts league night. Televisions throughout were airing muted Racing TV while some rock music from the likes of the Eagles played in the background. An L-shaped serving counter sits in the left rear corner where standard and premium keg is available. There are also two hand pumps, but they looked like they’d not been used in many years. I found the governor to be friendly and the crowd all seemed harmless enough, so as estate boozers go this one is OK.
