Just 2 ales were on in this pub, which was the only pub open in the village. Greene King IPA is the regular ale. Sharp's Doom Bar was a guest.
I was hoping to find some of the local Delvin End cider. But they had none.
The pub is situated on an A road in the centre of the village. We retreated to a fairly large garden at the rear. But despite its size, there was only a single table. Nobody else attempted to use the garden, with others preferring to watch sport on the TVs in the bar, whilst tucking into cheesy chips.
Nothing particularly special about this one. But accommodation is available and the barmaid/receptionist was friendly enough.
