No cask. Keg offering of Peroni, Fosters, Amstel, Thatcher’s Gold, SB dark fruits, Stone Wood Pacific Ale, Guinness, Camden Hells, Asahi, Moretti, Brixton Reliance Pale Ale, Heineken, Inch's and original SB.
Typically, large example of the chain. The front bar area is to the right of the entrance and is bare boarded, with a mixture of tall tables, and booth tables. There are a couple of pool tables sandwiched between the booth tables, and as expected here there are plenty of TV screens showing cycling and recorded footy action on my visit. The bar counter is over on the right-hand wall and there is a large ceramic patterned tiled skirt in front thereof, and sleeper fronted with a large screen behind trying to create an Aussie vibe in this very central part of Cardiff. There is a small bar over on the left-hand side beyond the front bar area with banquettes around the perimeter serving small tables with small stools the other side thereof. The rear part of the venue is dominated by huge screens (showing the same recorded footy action) with ledge and stool seating to sit and watch at the ground floor level with a flight of stairs on the right hand side taking you down to a basement bar with countless trestle table seating - this bar seemed to have similar taps as the ground floor bar but it was closed on my visit, presumably only being in demand on large sporting occasions.
