This pub is much as described by Al more than 10 years ago. No cask beers, but we spotted Tetley's Smooth and Tetley's Dark Mild among the keg taps, and these at least slaked our thirst after an afternoon at the new Everton FC stadium watching Leeds Rhinos v Bradford Bulls. Three halves of those beers came to £4.70, so around £3 a pint, and my mild was not excessively cold and easily drinkable. I can't remember the last time I had Tetley's Dark Mild, and to be fair it's not brewed in Leeds but I enjoyed it anyway. The people in the pub were friendly and welcoming - what more could you ask for?

A small two-roomed locals local. The 2 rooms are separated by an archway. A basic but friendly pub of an afternoon with older generation customers in today. Brick patterned wallpaper covers both rooms with the servery in the right sided room as you enter from the main road. No real ale.
