Al Bundy left this review about Subside
Dire 'rockers' pub. Crap long haired yeti rubbish coming through the speakers plus sad farts sitting around looking... sad. Satan's music apparently and 3 handpulls with beer straight from his arse. Awful.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Subside
Large 'L'-shaped rock bar with a surprising amount of space around the counter as well as at both the dance floor / stage and twin pool table ends, all as dark and loud, as you would expect. Two of four handpumps in operation: Hobgoblin (inevitably) and Farmer Jim's Pineapple & Passion Fruit cider (unaccountably selected, but not unpleasant in its own strange way - a bit like the pub itself).

Birmingham's best known Irish pub is boarded up a present due to a major fire. Now re-opened after major refurbishment.

Formerly The Barrel Organ, The Dubliner had been closed for a number of years due to a fire, but has now been fully rebuilt & refurbished. The pub is now open to the public again.
