Saturday 5pm June 2011 table for 7 not pre-booked. Arrived at a very busy time, not so much for food but there were a lot of drinkers at and around the bar. Noise levels were excessive but we were able to locate a table in a quieter annex so at least we could hear ourselves think. TV was on loud with nobody watching it but none of us was brave enough to ask for it to be switched off or turned down. Let's get to the food - usual find a table and order at bar, with a good varied menu with some items not usually seen on many pubs menu. Prices were in the medium range but you could take advantage of multiple courses at a much reduced price. There was also a choice of lighter meals at a lower price. When food arrived it was hot, well cooked and nicely presented. Portions were more than adequate and very tasty. Deserts were reasonably prices and came quite quickly. Again good sized portions and the service was reasonably fast and very courteous. All in all a very enjoyable dining experience and a place we would most certainly return too.
