The second nice looking pub in this pretty village, tucked into the green near the church. This one is far more given over to food, with most of the pub laid up for dining but a couple of tables at the front are kept for drinkers or there is plenty of space outside. It has had a 'traditional' sort of refurb in shades of blue and grey, and is tidy enough apart from the damned fairy lights everywhere. Ales were Theakston's Lightfoot and Butcombe Gold, which I suspect was the guest. Probably good to eat at but didn't seem much of a drinkers' pub.
