The Britannia is an open plan pub with an L-shaped bar counter that faces seating up the left and in the front window. Seating also runs up the right-hand side of the pub and televisions are located throughout for showing all things sport. There is also a dartboard on the right-hand wall. I found the barperson to be polite, but the Sharp’s Doom Bar and TT Landlord were both off meaning there was only standard keg alongside Birra Moretti. I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit this pub.

My final stop in Greater Manchester. This corner pub in Farnworth feels a bit out on a limb. It looks like there was once a bus station opposite. But, that is now some kind of construction site.
I followed the one-way system around through a busy bar to a lounge where there were no other customers on my arrival.
Bar staff were friendly and whilst the handpulls in each bar were unclipped, Theakston Best Bitter was on.
Farnworth doesn't appear to have much going for it. But I did enjoy my Chinese takeaway from nearby.

A two roomed locals local. Both rooms are pretty basic. The right hand room has a dartboard and the left hand one a small stage. It's a decent enough looking building from the outside, but the inside is so non-descript that my notes just say "Nothing to say". I bought a half of Fosters for £1.25 and had a look around and discovered that they had a handpump with a Caledonian pump clip on it in the other room. Another nothing pub in Farnworth.
