A detached 1960s looking estate pub, with the aesthetic quality of at least having a few different types of brick. The part to the right of the bay window was once a separate entrance, or shop/outdoor and there is a small patio area at the front.
The interior had two rooms - but the room at the back, presumably a lounge, i dindnt see. The main bar room is in light blue and wood panel, with a little claret! not a shock as the walls are covered with various footy photos. There is a pool table and a separate little area (part that used to be other entrance/shop) has a dart board. There were a couple of TVs showing Magic music channel. The service was fine, the clientele all local blokes - seemed a bit like a working men's club.
Beer; no real ale and basic tap stuff, no MILD even. Had a bitter shandy and left.
Nothing for a real ale drinker - just a basic local estate pub
