To find this bar, we took an immediate left down the side alley from the Crescent Inn. The pub was very quiet on our Saturday Eve visit. The barman told us that the place gets extremely busy later on, when the younger crowd fills the place and that they are open until 3am.
The place also promotes their own various types of burgers, which looked enormous. Three handpumps so we went for the Ilkley Mary Jane, which was fine.

The Yard is hidden away off Ilkleys main shopping street.
Once inside there is an L shaped room which has a stone tiled floor, the seating is pew type and normal tables and chairs, there was a TV to the right which was showing rugby, there is also a separate pool room to the right.
There were three three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Ilkley Ruby Jane which was a very nice drink, the other beers were Ilkley Mary Jane and a beer called Moustache.
The pub was fairly busy on my Saturday afternoon visit.
I quite liked this pub,one to take the wife to.

A café bar type place behind the Crescent hotel in an old warehouse like building. There are two bars on two floors, downstairs the L shaped bar is to the side with three handpumps with locally brewed Wharfebank and Ilkley plus a house beer brewed by Naylors of nearby Keighley, condition was excellent. Naturally wine, cocktails and kegs are available. Furnished with tables and chairs in a limited mix of styles, the menus are on clipboards and some tables have small brass oil lamps with brass shades, thankfully no candles. In spite of its non pub like atmosphere I quite liked the place, obviously it's more the kind of establishment I would take Mrs OB.
