Real Ale Ray left this review about The Otley Tavern

A good traditional local's pub with a friendly atmosphere. The four handpumps were offering the same beers, as Just a Quick Pint details below. I went for the Ossett Silver King, which was in excellent condition. There was background music playing on our Saturday afternoon visit, which was at a decent level. Would happily revisit this pub.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Otley Tavern

Traditional town local, with various small seating areas around the compact bar. Refurbished interior with light decor. Lively (in a good-natured way) during an England rugby match being shown on the large screen. Four handpumps on the counter, offering Black Sheep, Silver King and Yorkshire Blonde from Ossett, and Tetley's Cask (£3.00).

Alan Winfield left this review about The Otley Tavern

The Otley Tavern is a nice looking stone built pub that is situated quite close to the bus station.
Once inside there is a single square shaped room with the bar facing, there is comfy bench seating around the edge of the room, thee is also a small area down two steps to the rear right.
sky sports was showing football score updates.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Titanic Iceburg which went down well, the other beer was Tetley bitter.
This was my last pub to do in Otley,it was packed on my early evening visit.
I was quite happy having a drink in this pub.

Old Boots left this review about The Otley Tavern

A good refurbishment of an old Tetley's pub once called the Ring O Bells. Tastefully modernised in the new style with lots of wood and a flag floor. Now with four pulls of local beers of good quality. There are two big screens and in a nod to the old pub the old photos of Otley remain. The refurbishment has not removed the pubby atmosphere and keeps the bench seating and cosiness. Opening hours are better too now.

Old Boots left this review about Ring O' Bells

A very traditional pub, a single room but on several floor levels, mainly with wainscotting, bench seats and old brown furniture. A brown and cream colour scheme adds to the traditional feel as does the tongue and groove bar counter with foot rail and coat hooks. Only Tetley's Cask in reasonable condition available plus the usual kegs. There is a dart board in the lower floor level and a good number of screens, decoration is provided by the usual old Otley photos and some decent watercolours. The daytime opening hours are more limited than most nearby pubs.
