Long, thin and dark, club-like bar with the counter down one side and raised seating down the other, At the far end is the Elbow Room containing some pool tables. As you may expect there are multiple screens showing music videos including some quite old ones from the 1980s. One handpump serving an acceptable John Smiths Cask plus the normal range of kegs on a couple of mini T-bars and separate founts and of course the standard wines, spirits, etc. The service was sadly typical of some places in Northallerton, although the upstairs toilets were clean and pleasant.
