Old Boots left this review about BrewDog Edinburgh Waverley

Now under Brewdog it remains the same in layout, the wood has been removed and some Brewdog type signs and art work installed. The counter position is unchanged but is now the standard Brewdog fitting with the iconic beer and price display board above and a line of 16 keg taps along the rear wall. It still retains the train describer screen so it is handy if you’re short of time. Some grey paint has been applied and you can sit at tables outside and be annoyed by pigeons. Better now than before.

Now a BrewDog quite a dark interior although not the full on industrial interior you normally get. Bite card still being valid was a bonus.

Old Boots left this review about The Beer House

Inside the main waiting room it’s a square uninspiring wood lined room with the counter at the back. Mix of seating, banquette at one end, lower tables and chairs in the middle and taller ones at the other end. Train describer screen of course and some fruit machines. Four pulls but only Deuchars available plus a standard range of kegs on a couple of low T-bars. As said in previous reviews it’s a basic station bar of the lowest common denominator style, York Tap it is not.

Standard train station bar serving 4 real ales and food. Bite card valid here.Does the job if your short on time but if you have more time to play with then try any of The Guildford Arms,The Doric,Jake’s Place or Halfway House all close to Waverley train station.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Nor' Loch

Typically grim SSP station bar, with no redeeming features apart from proximity to the platforms. However, some thrash-type music provided incongruity. Two handpumps on the counter, with an uninspiring selection of Deuchars IPA and Old Speckled Hen (£3.70, less 20% discount with BITE card).

ian stevenson left this review about Coopers Bar

This is a great place to go for a quick drink or sit and have a meal, there is a wide range of drinks to choose from including a huge whisky selection.
The menu is a typical pub food and if your in a rush its guaranteed in twenty mins or your money back.
