David Walton left this review about Samuel Webb

Visited 02/06/26. Visited previously 23/02/18.

Cask here was three Okells offerings, the Bitter, the MPA and the TT special the 1907. Keg offering of Carling, Madri, Fosters, Guinness, Okells Nectar NEIPA, dark fruits SB, Falcon lager and the Orchard View apple cider.

Samuel Webb is ostensibly a sports bar at one end of what is colloquially referred to as the "shopping street". There is some picnic bench seating out the front, but inside it is L shaped, bare boarded with the bar counter to the left of the entrance on the rear wall and following the internal shape of the venue. There is a sports room on the left-hand side with a pool table and some regular tables and chairs. In front of the bar counter are a couple of tall tables with tall, backed stools, one under the large TV in the corner showing recorded motor sports action in the absence of live TT action this afternoon. There is also a TV behind the bar counter. Over to the longer part to the right of the entrance are some booth like areas and some dart boards, there being more TV screens in this area and the booths revert to carpet flooring presumably to hide dart damage from arrows rebounding from the boards. As all the TVs were on silent, a rather classy pop soundtrack was being played. There is a lot of TT memorabilia on the walls.
