Cask here was the Bushey’s Manx Bitter, TT special of Piston Brew and the Shuttleworth Snap (named after the bike in a George Formby movie No Limit apparently), plus Old Rosie cider. Keg offering of Stowford Press, Norseman lager, Guinness, Stella, Becks Viet and the Oyster Stout from Bushey’s.
Pretty legendary Douglas pub, on a side street so you would only stumble upon if you knew it was there. There is a small amount of seating at the front. Inside it is bare boarded with the bar counter to the right of the entrance - a couple of stools at the bar counter. In the rest of the bar space there is a banquette to the left of the entrance serving a couple of regular tables with a couple of small tables with stools in the centre of the floor space plus a standing drinking ledge along part of the wall opposite the entrance. A couple of doorways take you to a snug area with crimson leather banquettes fitted around the walls serving a central table, a room that is clearly an homage to Blackburn Rovers and a pool room. Over to the far-left hand corner is a step down into another seating area with crimson leather banquettes around the perimeter serving regular tables with a few TV screens on the wall, a non-operational fire grate, several fruit machines and plenty of venue and sporting memorabilia. The TVs were tuned into a rerun of this afternoon’s TT action absent sound, that provided by a classy music soundtrack. All round quality establishment and up these with the best the Isle of Man has to offer.

Probably the best pub in Douglas, I was last here in 2015 and returned a couple of times on my recent visit to the Isle of Man.
The main bar area has quite a few locals and has TVs showing sports news. A real fire creates a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Dogs are also allowed. There are 3 other small rooms. My second visit this time led me to the Blackburn Rovers-themed room which can be found on the way to the toilets. It can be a bit cold and musty in here, with an inevitable smell emanating from the toilets. However, it may hold interest to a football fan.
Bar staff were friendly here and being a Bushy's pub, you'll find Bushy's Bitter along with other Bushy's beers and some guests. For my visits they had Bushy's Star Of India & Lonesome Pine, Birmingham Blonde Brummie & Hopback Taiphoon. There are also a couple of Weston's Rosie's Pig ciders on handpull - the original and the Strawberry & Cucumber version.

The staff are very friendly and on the ball! It's one of the few places with decent music. On holiday we tried lots of pubs but always found ourselves back in the Rovers Return! :D Can i have another free Bushy's sticker please? I lost mine and my tool box looks really bland with no stickers. :'(

Back Street pub with a good selection of real ales. Had Prospect Blinding Light and Westerham Brambling Cross, both in good ondition. Has an outside seating area for smokers.
