A double fronted brick exterior hides a modern pub / restaurant internally. Presumably formerly separate bars, internally it is now one wooden floored space with a large bar area to the front and right of the central bar with lots of comfy sofa seating and then a separate dining area section to the left.
What looks like some original old beams remain to give some character, but this is largely a modern bar / restaurant hiding in a traditional pub skin.
Two banks of chrome drinks dispensers are lined up on a modern stainless steel bar top, but there are three Ale handpumps sitting in the middle of these and Fullers London Pride and Rebellion IPA were available for my visit with what looked like an Adnams Bitter pump clip reversed.
Clean, comfortable place for a drink, but if it is a more traditional pub experience you are after , then the Eagle on the opposite side of the High Street is more aligned to this.
