A deceptively large pub on a main road half way up a large hill. Various separate areas range round a central servery, reasonably-furnished and with a pretty good pub feel. There are a few sports screens and a dartboard at the back, although food seemed fairly well up the priority list, while posted entertainments included a weekly quiz and a monthly bingo session. Cask ales on were Old Speckled Hen and Genevieve (a GK/Thornbridge collab.), TT Landlord and Tetleys Original Cask with prices from £3.70, in good condition and with sundry CAMRA and Cask Marque material on display so at least they take the beer seriously. Fine if in the area but not really worth a special trip.

The Crown is a decent looking pub that is situated on a busy road in Bradfords southern suburb of Bank Top.
Once inside the bar faces, the room is part carpeted and bare boarded, the seating a mix of types with normal tables and chairs and american diner seating to the front left, there were TVs showing the Wes Ham v Liverpool game.
There is a larger area to the rear which has a pool table and darts board, the pub serves food all day and this seemed to be a big draw on my Saturday afternoon visit.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Tetley Cask which went down well, the other beer was Gk IPA.
The pub was packed during my visit so they must be doing something right here.
