David Walton left this review about Hit King

Visited 12/02/26. Visited previously as City Bar on 04/08/21.

No cask. Keg offering (menu on mirror behind bar counter) of Bitburger, Modelo, Sapporo, Moretti, Kostritzer Black Lager, Adnams Wild Wave cider, Beamish Irish Stout, Guinness, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Deya Magazine Cover Pale Ale, Siren Lumina session IPA, Small Beer Pale Ale.

Newly opened baseball activity bar. Glass fronted rectangular venue with bar counter along wall opposite entrance over to the right half of the venue. Some tall tables with tall stools in the windows opposite the bar counter and around the right-hand edge of the venue. There are some tall tables to the left of the entrance in the windows and opposite the baseball cage. Along the left-hand wall is a whippet racing game (roll balls into hoops to move your mutt towards the finish line). Think I saw a single large screen and showing music videos on my visit with the music turned up to a decent volume.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about One Sixty - City

Modern bar / restaurant, with an elongated seating / dining area along the frontage and the bar down three steps at the back. Mix of furniture in the different areas, but limited dark decor only partially offset by the feature filament lighting. Five handpumps on the counter, but only Gales Spring Sprinter and Truman's Swift (£3.70) actually available.
