Soup Dragon left this review about The Junction
A fantastic looking brick rounded corner pub with a decent smoking section, as approved by JB, my drinking buddy.
The interior is modern; open plan and in dark green, white and brick, the music was varied and quiet. The service was fine and the clientele more mature based, maybe because the place beer and foodwise wasnt the cheapest around - so the non-discerning were in the Vine, Varsity, Stores and Green Man, i think. Yes, there were sofas, interesting lighting, candles etc, but some nice tiling in the corridor balanced it off with a touch of the traditional.
Beer; tap stuff with a wide range of lagers like Peroni, Staropromen, Amstel etc, with Everards Tiger, Elgood's Thin Ice and a decent Camerons Fool's Gold on handpull
This was a tidy and quality pub, not totally to my personal taste with the interior, but would happily return.

Barry Barcrest left this review about O'Neill's
No Longer O'Niels, it has reverted back to it's old name of "The Junction". Sells preium beers and food, but it certainly isn't cheap. Has an outside smoking area that is covered and warm.
