Quirky pub in a village that could be described as the middle of nowhere. With the single track lanes, you certainly have to want to go there. It is prime walking country though and a beautiful walk along the coast to Prawle Point can be easily fashioned.
The pub is full of interesting nick nacks and paraphernalia. Low ceiling, wooden flooring, things hanging from the roof, walls. A little curtained alcove, a childrens room, the most basic of toilets (gents) and most bizarrely - as shower room. I can only assume they have camping.
Beers are gravity fed from the cask - with representation from the South Hams Brewery and a Otter Bitter (chosen and in great nick). Food was good too.
I understand in normal times its famouse for music and festivals. Lets hope we get back to those days soon.

The Pigs Nose is an interesting pub based in the most southerly part of Devon. The Inn caters very much for tourists and walkers in particular as well as locals. Owned by the nearby South Hams brewery they had two of their ales, Devon Pride a 3.8% and a 4.8 % Eddystone as well as Otter bitter. The pub actively welcomes dogs and children and is crammed with quirky features, nick nacks, humerous quips and other stuff. Food was simple pub grub well done and in good portions too.
